SACRAMENTO, California — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have formalized a strategic partnership to accelerate the evolution of electric vehicle (EV) battery production. The collaboration centers on LiCAP’s proprietary dry electrode technology, a solvent-free process that eliminates volatile organic compounds and other hazardous materials typically used in conventional electrode fabrication.
This initiative directly supports Nissan’s long-term sustainability objectives by enhancing manufacturing efficiency, minimizing environmental impact, and setting new standards for high-performance energy storage systems.
